It took me 10 mins to make an Atomic Highways character, and 2 days to make an Eclipse Phase character lol (1000 customization points weeee.)

are we just going 18 point for stats.

with skills do they all add up, say if i get the same skill twice once in natural and once in pursuit do i now have two points in that skill.

Yup 18 points for Attributes and all the starting skill points stack for Rearing, Pursuit and Natural (step 4 in chargen) skills.
What have you got so far and what is your character concept?
(Btw 2 is considered average for skills and attributes so the pcs are definitely above average.)

I havent heard much from him, but the last time I heard from him he said he was almost ready to go.

I think you have 4 more points to spend on skills, can you remember if you spent the 4 customize points in step 7 of character creation?
