Idioms idea

Having set idioms for your character

This would be a cool extra to put into a system like white wolf or something even more rules light.
When a character gets into a certain situations that would effect a characters idioms
there would be preconceived effects that would happen.

eg
Hate Heights
alcoholic
collector
read comics
loves ducks
hate the sight of blood
rage



that player would have to work with these idioms and the GM could use therm for plot devices. drunken

I like these kind of add ons much more than sanity/morality ratings they seem more freewheeling.
They remind me of the flaws qualities in WoD, you get extra exp when they disadvantage you in game.
I think GURPS had something very similar or was it unisystem, damnit! How should I know, where's my beer!

Yeah i thought it would be a good idea, makes people play their character more.

EP has negative and positive qualities for the ego and morph.
I wouldn't want them in AH though, part of it's beauty is the lightness of the system.

It is really simple, you roll your attribute as a pool of d6's.
A 6 is a success. your relevant skill is used as as points you spend to make more successes.
Example; you have nimbleness 4 and brawl 3, you roll 4d6 for nimbleness.
getting a 6 5 3 and 4.
The 6 is a success, I have three points to spend on the remaining results so I spend two to make the 4 a 6 and one to bump the 5 up to a 6.
Now I have 3 success as the final result.
