Advanced Fighting Fantasy Recruitment/Character Thread

This is where we will get set up for the AFF game.
Here are the characters, it is first come first served. So if you want to pick one of the characters post it here letting us know your choice.
If you have a copy of the book feel free to make your own character.

Do you know what would be cool if we could get the original Sorcery spell book. I am looking for a free printable version.
But it is all good if I cant because in the original you had to memorize the spells 3 letter names and effects so you didn't cast the wrong spell. Maybe we can do something like that.

Found one. Check out the GOB spell, it is cast on a goblin's tooth.

I have got it. You will be able to look up spells during the game, prior to combat. But when combat starts you wont be able to look up spells you will have to rely on your memory.

Right here is my character.
(They start as renown adventurers and can use a single player FF game book as an element of the character's background.
I picked The Citadel of Chaos for Sarren.)

Sarren the Warmage



After his aptitude for magic became apparent, Sarren was trained at the magic school in the Forest of Yore.
He quickly became the star pupil and was chosen for an urgent mission to assassinate Balthus Dire, an evil sorcerer amassing an army in the Moonstone hills.
After he successfully completed his quest, Sarren put his studies on hold and continued on as an adventurer.
Though he is a bit headstrong at times, he is not reckless and his raw ability is usually more than enough to pull him through.
